The Reading Club will meet on Thursday, October 6th at lunchtime in the Library Reading Room.
With Hallowe'en approaching we will be discussing horror stories. Pizza will be served. New members welcome!

The Reading Club will be meeting on April 28th at lunchtime in the library reference room. We will be discussing the novels of Laurie Halse Anderson including her book Wintergirls. We will also need to decide what our club will be doing for Field Day on May 13th.

Note: We will have pizza delivered, but bring something to share with the group (soda, dessert, chips, etc.).

This week we will be comparing Eric Schlosser's nonfiction books Fast Food Nation and Chew on This and see how the author presents the same issue to two different age levels.

We will meet in the Library Reference Room at lunchtime.

The Reading Club will be meeting on February 3rd at lunchtime in the library reference room. We will be discussing the novels of John Green, including his newest book, Will Grayson, Will Grayson, which Green co-authored with David Levithan.

2020 John Newbery Medal winner

The John Newbery Medal for most distinguished contribution to American Literature for children went to Rebecca Stead for "When You Reach Me." This novel is about the adventures of 12-year-old Miranda as she tries to make sense of a series of mystifying events. This book is available in the SPSV library.
