Reading Club meeting March 1st 2012

There will be a meeting of the Reading Club in the library reference room at lunchtime on Thursday, March 1st.  We will be discussing the last installment of Harry Potter and viewing part of the movie adaptation.  Lunch will be provided.  Please bring drinks to share with the group.

Reading Club Meeting October 6th

The Reading Club will meet on Thursday, October 6th at lunchtime in the Library Reading Room.
With Hallowe'en approaching we will be discussing horror stories.  Pizza will be served.  New members welcome!

First Reading Club Meeting of the year!

Welcome to new and returning members of the Reading Club.  The first meeting of this school year will be on Thursday, September 8th at lunchtime in the library reference room.

We will discuss books that we read over the summer.

Reading Club meeting on Thursday, April 28th

The Reading Club will be meeting on April 28th at lunchtime in the library reference room.  We will be discussing the novels of Laurie Halse Anderson including her book Wintergirls.  We will also need to decide what our club will be doing for Field Day on May 13th.

Note: We will have pizza delivered, but bring something to share with the group (soda, dessert, chips, etc.).

This week we will be comparing Eric Schlosser's nonfiction books Fast Food Nation and Chew on This and see how the author presents the same issue to two different age levels.

We will meet in the Library Reference Room at lunchtime.
